Animation can distill our emotions into something simpler, and in so doing, leave us feeling more exposed than ever before. Nowhere is that more true than in this animated short by two students at Ringling College of Art and Design. In A Heartbeat by Beth David and Esteban Bravo reveals the tender emotions of a closeted boy whose heart betrays him.
