I’m Kate Teves (pronounced TAY-viss). I’m building a company that values silliness, joy, authenticity, and inner creativity. I don’t want to create for people (the world is positively drowning in content). I want to create with people. That’s why so many of my projects are craft-based. In this era of digitization and AI, I still believe humans are at their best when they use their hands.

I’m doing this all brick by brick, story by story.


A Little About Me:

I spent my youth wandering around a family farm in Central New York with nothing but daydreams, cows, and the chatter of trees. It was as close to a perfect childhood as it gets. In my twenties, I spent many years working with children in the developing world—children whose lives were shattered by a million different kinds of global greed. These experiences fundamentally changed me in ways I rarely have the strength to discuss. But all of that—the farm life, the developing world—all of it has left me with a compulsion to bring joy to children (and increasingly to adults).
