In 2018, after twenty years spent working in academia and television, I began illustrating. It came out of nowhere, and it changed my life forever. I discovered, or was reminded, that handmade art honors our most loving selves.
In my work, I draw deeply from my own youth, which was spent putzing around a historic farm in Central New York. I talked to animals and built stuff, on repeat. Nowadays I live in Boca Raton with my very dear husband Christoph who tolerates my farm-raised neuroses like a champ.
