VIDEO: Elizabeth Misses Winter
This teddy bear loves winter!
Elizabeth and I were supposed to make a video about summertime snorkeling, but she showed up to our shoot wearing a wool hat and a sweater!
Elizabeth!!!
It turns out this stuffed animal misses everything about winter. She misses snow, icicles, sledding, tea (with honey!), and especially throwing snowballs (she’s very good at it).
Watch our video below to hear why she believes winter is so wonderful:
Do you want to make the snowman craft from the video?
It’s so easy!
Snowman Puppet:
Here’s what you need:
1 paint stirrer (you can pick one up for free at Home Depot!)
3 cotton rounds (or circular pieces of paper)
construction paper for hat, nose, eyes, and buttons
2 hairpins for arms
scissors
Simply glue the rounds onto the paint stick to form the body of your snowman. Then glue the paper onto the body to make a nose, eyes, hat, and any clothes you want to create. (Snowmen and snow-women are very fashion conscious!)
Attach the arms to the back with a nice dollop of glue. You’ll need to let the glue dry fully so that the arms don’t fall down (like mine did in the video…).
You’ll notice that there are two ways to position the hairpins:
If you lie them flat, then your snowman will only be able to hold a picture or note facing up. It is better to place the hairpins on their rounded side so that a picture or note faces out, towards the audience.
