Taste-testing seltzer and using vocabulary to describe the various notes!

When we were invited to read Meet The Squirbles at the Delray Beach Public Library, we knew we wanted to make it extra-squirbly.

As anyone who’s anyone knows, The Squirbles’ favorite foods are: gummies and seltzer!

So we thought it was only appropriate to host a gummy bear & seltzer tasting. “For sophisticated palates only” of course.

Each child tasted a series of gummy candies and three unmarked seltzers. Within no time the kids were off to the races, and an outpouring of creative vocabulary ensued!

We’ve put together the lesson plan right here for you to download for free. It’s a great activity for big and little kids alike!
